Whether you're an army of one or many, we want you to be a part of the fun too! We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, fun-loving individuals that want to give back while having fun.

The event will benefit the Friends of San Marcos Parks and Recreation non-profit organization! You will be a part of the 8th annual Double Peak Challenge 10K, 5K & Trail Trot. Experience the race first hand and make friends with other volunteers at the event! Volunteers 14 years old and over are welcome, or if you are younger you can volunteer with your parents or guardian!

Volunteers needed for packet pick-up and race day

Friday, September 29th, 2023 at San Elijo Community Center from 3pm- 7:00pm: Packet Pickup duties are crucial in any race, especially when there are numerous expected participants! You will play an integral part in facilitating participants and distributing race materials! Volunteers who work both days get first priority on jobs.

Saturday, September 30th, 2023, 5:30am - 12:00 pm @ San Elijo Hills Neighborhood Park: Race Day duties include start and finish line assistance, course management, water stations, cheering on participants and other key tasks to ensure the Double Peak Challenge 5K and 10K are a success!
