DOUBLE PEAK CHALLENGE 10K

Possibly the most challenging 10K distance course in San Diego County. The multi-surface paths through San Elijo Hills/Double Peak offer runners the option of running on asphalt or decomposed granite. Make no mistake; this out-and-back course is steep, but runners are rewarded with panoramic views of the entire north county and a breathtaking summit halfway point. All runners will receive a race medal.

JOGGING STROLLERS ARE NOT ADVISED DUE TO VERY STEEP INCLINES ON THE 10K COURSE.

Disclaimer- not a professional runner... or even a decent runner!  Ha

5K FUN RUN

We're not going to lie, this one's a challenge too! Offering views, nature and the experience of getting out and getting your heart rate up, without quite the leg and lung burning climbs of the 10K. Come ready for some serious hills through! All participants will receive a race medal. The course alternates between asphalt paths, dirt patches/trails and some relatively steep inclines and declines.

JOGGING STROLLERS ARE NOT ADVISED DUE TO VERY STEEP INCLINES ON THE 5K COURSE.

KIDS TROT

The perfect introduction to running events. We invite little ones under 10 to join us in this non-competitive run which promises to put smiles on everyone. Kids Trot will occure adjacent to expo area near start/finish line in San Elijo Hills Neighborhood Park.
