Double Peak 10K Challenge- Possibly the most challenging 10K distance course in San Diego County.  The multi-surface paths through San Elijo Hills/Double Peak offer runners the option of running on asphalt or decomposed granite.  Make no mistake, this out-and-back course is steep, but runners are rewarded with panoramic views of the entire north county and a breathtaking summit halfway point.  All runners will receive a race medal.
Jogging strollers are not advised due to very steep inclines on the 10K course.

5K Fun Run - This distance is not included in the 2020 event but we wanted to leave it here as an option. We're not going to lie, this one's a challenge too!  Offering views, nature and the experience of getting out and getting your heart rate up, without quite the leg and lung burning climbs of the 10K.  Come ready for some serious hills though!  All participants will receive a race medal.  The course alternates between asphalt paths and dirt paths/trails and some relatively steep inclines and declines.
Jogging strollers are not advised on 5K course due to some narrow and/or uneven surfaces (dirt) and steep inclines.
