The Friends of San Marcos are dedicated to responsible stewardship with an emphasis on collaboration, reaching out and working to realize shared goals.
The mission of The San Marcos Promise (TSMP) is to prepare students for college and the 21st century workforce. By helping students discover their strengths, interests and values, the students are then aligned with a practical college and career path. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, a variety of programs including scholarships, real world experiences and guaranteed admission to CSUSM are offered. Since 2014, TSMP has awarded $690,500 in scholarships to program graduates.
